Isn't it encouraging to know every morning is a new day, a fresh start?
Lamentations 3:22-23 says, "The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness."
The Bible tells us that God's mercies are new every morning. We don't have to be discouraged by yesterdays failures. God can forgive us and renew us! Each day He gives us a second chance (or a 3rd chance)! As long as there is breath in our lungs it is not too late to change. God is giving you a chance right now, whether that's to repent of sin, turn to Him, put your trust fully in Him, or surrender an area of your life to Him right now.
When we fall short of God's standard we don't have to fall into hopelessness! God has given us hope in Jesus! And when we do fail, we can seek the forgiveness and mercy of God and He will give us the strength to start over.
2 Corinthians 12:9 "But He said, "My grace is sufficient for you for my power is made perfect in weakness."
When we do fail, God is still faithful and He uses our failure to show His power in us!
If you have failed or are feeling discouraged right now, may you could be encouraged by those verses! (Lamentations 3:22-23 2 Corinthians 12:9)
"Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it." -Anne Shirley
Tomorrow is a new day! We can start anew even if yesterday, we failed. And the reason we can do that and be forgiven is because of God's mercy! What an encouraging thought!
If you are feeling discouraged, guilty, or like you are a failure, be encouraged by the abundant mercy of God! Praise Him for it and live a life that shows the power of Christ in you! God uses us in ways we could never imagine! He uses our weaknesses to show His strength. Just like He used Moses, who was slow of speech, and in doing so showed His power through Moses. He also used Jeremiah and Timothy even though they were young. God uses us, even if we feel inadequate.
So remember the mercies of God. Begin each day knowing that you are forgiven. Seek to live in a way that gives glory to God. And do not be discouraged! "Our sins, they are many, His mercy is more!"
