Count your blessings

Count your blessings
Instead of your crosses;

Count your gains
Instead of your losses;

Count your joys
Instead of your woes;

Count your friends
Instead of your foes;

Count your smiles
Instead of your tears;

Count your courage
Instead of your fears;

Count your full years
Instead of your lean;

Count your kind deeds
Instead of your mean;

Count your health
Instead of your wealth;

Count on God
Instead of yourself!

This is a great poem! When we are going through trials or hard times or are just having a bad day, this is a great poem to remember! We need to count our blessings, gains, joys, friends, smiles, courage, full years, kind deeds, health, and count on God. We need to be thankful. We can always be thankful, even if it's just for the little things in life!
God gives us so many blessings and gifts. If you have food and shelter; family and friends; clothes and shoes; health and good memories; and most importantly salvation through Jesus Christ; you can ALWAYS be thankful!

I have reason to be thankful because I have health and food and shelter and family and friends! I live in the United States where I have freedom! I have salvation through Christ! I have many things to be thankful for. Even if God hasn't answered all my prayers, I can be thankful! Even during this confusing time, I can be thankful!

So as we go through this uncertain time and struggle through life remember to count your blessings!
