Before you read the quotes, I thought I would tell you a little bit about C.S. Lewis, so you can better understand his quotes. He was not always a Christian. He was born November 29, 1898. And it wasn't until September 1931 when he became a Christian. But in the time frame before he became a Christian: his mother died, he abonded the Christian faith, he recieved a scholorship to the University college Oxford, he enlisted in the British army, his friend died in battle, he was wounded in battle, his father died, and then 2 years after his fathers death, he became a Christian! He wrote many books, including Mere Christianity, The Screwtape letters, The problem of pain, The allegory of love, Reflections on the Psalms, Preparing for Easter, and many more! And, of course, he is famous for his Chronicles of Narnia seies! There has even been movies made of a few Narnia books! And they are a few of my favorite movies! C.S. Lewis is someone I really admire. He has lots of good quotes! I hope you enjoy the ones I've choose to share!
