"When it rains, look for rainbows. When it's dark, look for stars." ~Unknown
This verse tells us that everything works according to God's plan and it all works for good for those who love God. So even though it might seem like nothing good is coming out of a situation, God can use anything. He can use sickness or death or pain to conect people. And then He can use that relationship to bring others to Him. Or He can use hard times in our life to bring us closer to Him. He can use anything in anyway. And He always answers prayers. Sometimes the answer is no. But maybe when He says no to you, He is using it to help someone else. There's an Adventure in odyssey episode about a girl who is going blind. She is schedeled to have a cornea transplant, which may help her be able to see. But she relizes that the person she has to get the corneas from will have to die. She relizes that someone may have been praying for God to heal that person. And the answer would be no. But then God would use that sad situation, to help her see.
We might be praying for someone to be healed or for a situation to go a certain way, and God might say no. We might not always understand how everything works together for good, but God is sovereign. He may say no to you, so that He can heal someone else or bring someone to Him. We may see how God uses a situation for good, or we may never know. But we can always be certain that God is sovereign and that He can use any situation.
So in closing:
